This variant of Kangite ore is especially prized by Minmatar engineers for use in large-scale construction projects. Deposits have been held in reserve until such a time as the Republic needed them.

Unlike regular Kangite ore, X-Grade is more stable and can be reprocessed without specialized equipment into Tritanium and Pyerite, as well as providing Crystalline Kangite, which is valuable to the Minmatar Republic.

This material is compressed and a much more compact form of the original material.
